Ben practices commercial real estate law with an emphasis on affordable housing development and low income housing tax credits (LIHTC) transactions. He provides counsel, reviews title and survey, and performs closings for developer clientele in the acquisition and finance of real estate development.

Ben was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.  He is the oldest of three boys and is the only UNC Tarheel in a family of full of NC State graduates.  Ben has had a long interest in real estate.  As a boy, Ben watched his father develop multifamily communities and, during college and law school, Ben worked for property managers and developers.  Ben vacations with his family in the mountains near Linville, NC and at the coast in Brunswick County, NC as often as possible.
