Denise L. Presley
Profile
Denise is a commercial real estate attorney, licensed to practice in North Carolina and Massachusetts. She closes large scale commercial projects, involving multiple levels of complex financing. She is also an experienced litigator and trial lawyer, and conducts arbitrations on behalf of the AAA, FINRA (formally NASD) and the BBB. Before law school, she owned and operated a real estate business in Chicago (which included a two-office national brokerage franchise). In addition to earning a juris doctorate from Vermont Law School, with a concentration in land use and environmental law, she holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Denise’s practice regularly includes the following:

Developer’s and lenders counsel for transactions involving the syndication of low-income housing, historic preservation and new markets tax credits.

Counsel to public housing authorities, municipalities, for profit and nonprofit developers and lenders on community re-development projects, which include HOPE VI, HTF, HOME and municipal bond financing.
